Types of Events
Books & Brews - Author Talks
We'll bring 1-4 authors together in discussion with a moderator about their books, writing process, and more. This is a great event to host at a local business for entertainment or at fundraisers to draw a crowd, pulling from SLO county's ample reader community.

School Visits
We'll bring 1-2 authors to your school to talk about their books. Presentations will vary from informative to instructional, with activities for kids (or adults at the college level!) and an opportunity for them to buy signed books.
Writing Seminar
From writing craft to the publishing process, these sessions will be as instructional as they are informative. Great for writing classes and aspiring writers of all ages!
Workshops
Longer and more intensive than writing seminars, workshops will deep dive into particular aspects of writing and publishing, with a focus on getting work done during the session. Perfect for writers of all ages!
Meet & Great
Looking for something casual and easy? We'll bring 1-3 authors together for a low-key meet and greet style event, where attendees can chat with authors, get signed books, and go home with fun swag. Perfect for fundraisers, local business events, and more!
Tabling
Looking for vendors? The Cove is a boutique, curated bookstore focusing on local authors. The store features books the owner has read and loved, with an ever-growing catalogue. We'll setup a table at your location and draw people in with the opportunity for signed books, swag, and prizes!
Book Club
We'll coordinate with you to select a book club pick, provide books for sale, and coordinate with the author to have them attend in person or virtually for a bookclub post reading.
